My name is Rohit Gupta. I have been born and brought up in Kolkata. I have completed my schooling from St. Lawrence High School, Kolkata. I have done my graduation in B.Com (Hons) in Accountancy. Having been born in a business family, business and its profession have been a common topic of dinner table discussions. I have always had a keen interest in understanding the financial markets and risks associated with it. To understand about the same I started pursuing FRM and have completed its first level. But, I felt the need to understand the bigger picture and to gain a broader understanding I got into B-School (Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bengaluru). I have also completed the Bloomberg Market Concepts course wherein I learned how macroeconomic variables play a role in shaping the economy and business in an Industry. Over the years my hunger to know more about Finance has only grown and I would like to have an Internship to have a piece of more practical knowledge and also able to apply what I have learnt to contribute to the company. Apart from academics, I like to play the Guitar, it acts as a stress buster for me. I also love playing football it keeps me fit and makes me feel more alive.
