Summary | I am Jay Bulani having expertise in cement industry for >3year, especially involved with analysis and audits, graduated from NIT Jalandhar in 2016. |
About | Dear Sir/Madam,
I am the graduate engineer trainee currently working at RCCPL Pvt Ltd completed my B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from NIT Jalandhar in 2016.
I have represented a review paper titled as “Photocatalytic degradation of organic dyes in presence of nanostructured TiO2 - A review” at a national conference on “Advances in Chemical and Environment Engineering” organized by department of chemical engineering, NIT Jalandhar. The paper aims to review the limitations of TiO2 technologies and the recent works on the modification of TiO2 photocatalyst with the purpose of improving the photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants. The existing shortcomings and future research needed to utilize TiO2 photocatalysis for water treatment were also summarized & discussed.
I have completed my summer research internship during May’15- June’15 at chemical engineering department of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc). During the internship I worked on the Nitrate removal efficiency of the Granular Activated Charcoal prepared from Coconut shell and impregnated with different agents such as ortho phosphoric acid and zinc chloride and the comparison was done by using different instruments such as Scanning electron microscopy and UV spectrophotometer.
I have also been an intern in Rays Power Experts Pvt. Ltd (June’14-July’14) deputed in Jaipur, Rajasthan (INDIA) and worked on PV Solar Panels and Cleaning system of these solar panels. Existing cleaning technologies are expensive, dangerous as well as the areas are extremely backward and during this experience, I have realized the unavailability of water in that particular area.
So far, I have decided to develop a module cleaning device, as my project, which can clean the solar panel without using water. My research work was to construct a new method of self-cleaning, a solar panel supported with cleaning device, called Solar Module Cleaning Device.
In the meantime, I went through one of the Short Term Course on “Recent Advances in Hydrocarbon Engineering” conducted by ISTE and SRM university, which involved the tremendous changes happened in the petroleum industry in last one decade such as Integrated Bio-Refinery, Oil-seed Based Refinery using Coconut and Mahua oil etc. as well as got experience of the smooth transportation of petroleum products from refinery to the Oil Depot of IOCL & BPCL.
I look forward to hearing from you – my contact details and all other achievements can be found on my CV. Kindly find my CV attached with this mail.
Eagerly anticipating your reply.
Warm Regards
